Kindergarten’s Pow-Wow Day was another smashing success! Students learned about life in Native America over the course of a couple weeks through literature and classroom lessons. Then came the culminating project: Pow-Wow Day. Students ground corn, participated in spear-throwing games, and hunted the mighty buffalo among other actions. Thanks to all the moms and dads who came out to engage in learning with the children!
